PUSH is a women’s health, maternal health, and family health 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to improve maternal health experiences and outcomes for all women and families through an integrated and person-centered care model. Its approach is rooted in a public health framework with community health workers (CHWs), along with individuals with a personal connection to its mission, at the center of operations. Programs at PUSH aim to address social determinants of health. Due to the significantly higher rates of adverse health outcomes in certain populations, programs are designed to target women of color, families at higher risk of pregnancy-related complications, and the medically uninsured/underinsured.
